Private Sessions at 
blue mountain Yoga, Health and Wellness

Blue mountain Yoga offers Private Lessons for 1 or 2 people. Private lessons are different from our regular classes in a variety of ways. Private sessions are tailored to the individual. WE DO YOGA, CARDIO FITNESS, CHAIR YOGA, WEIGHT TRAINING, PILATES and whatever you need.  Meet with our instructor to discuss your goals, expectations, and previous experiences with yoga. Whether you are an experienced practitioner looking to deepen your practice, or a complete beginner looking for a foundation before taking our regular classes, private sessions can aid you on your yogic journey.

WHO PROVIDES TRAINING?

Hello.  I have been involved in fitness or 40 years.  I am American College of Sports Medicine certified and  Yoga Alliance Certified Instructor.  Come let me personalize your training to suit you and only you.

Benefits of Private Yoga Sessions:

  • Goals—You and our facilitator will meet to discuss your specific goals, and every session will be focused on achieving those goals rather than the general intention of classes.

  • Tailored instruction for safe and effective practice—All of the instructors attention will be with you. There is open communication between the instructor and client during the entire session. Use of props can be explained in detail, modifications can be made on the spot for an uncomfortable pose, alignment and body mechanics are discussed for every asana and customized for your body.

  • There are no handicaps—A common recommendation for functional movement after an injury is yoga, but it can be intimidating or even embarrassing if your body just doesn’t move in the same ways as everyone else’s. In a private session, there are no handicaps, just gentle modifications and props. Props elevate every practice and make poses more accessible. Even advanced practitioners can utilize props to elevate their practice.

  • Fits your schedule—All private sessions are scheduled during non class times at a mutually agreed upon time. This makes it convenient for you to fit Health and Wellness into your schedule.
